Wooo Hoooo and WELCOME to my very first post on my first ever blog 🍀 Snowed In Shenanigans......... It's been a couple of weeks since our historical snowfall *(January 9, 2025) here in Durant, Oklahoma!!! Our weather officials tell us that a whopping 12" of the fluffy white stuff covered our tiny town. We measured about 7" in our front yard. Regardless of the exact amount, it was MUCH to our surprise, a welcomed weather event and soooooo very beautiful for about a week following. Our city of Durant, being a fairly small town and certainly not use to anything more than a light glazing of ice about every two years, it understandably took a couple of days before our town's single snowplow found it's way to our lil' neighborhood along the outskirts of town.
