Sweet Stampede Blog Hop ~ CARD SKETCH

  Hello February!!!      Welcome to our monthly inspiration, Sweet Stampede team Blog Hop. This is where each month a few of my stampin' friends and I, collaborate on a predetermined creative  'theme' and each of us creates a project following that 'theme'. We then share our creations collectively here on our monthly 'Sweet Stampede Blog Hop'. This month we are sharing cards our utilizing a 'Card Sketch'    I'm not sure about you, but I love a good card sketch!  For me, I feel like it helps to eliminate my 'overthinking' of the actual design process and  allows me to skip right to the enjoyment of choosing all the pretty pieces and  begin assembling my card right away!  Here's our 'card sketch'.....   If you've never utilized a card sketch before, I highly recommend giving this sketch a try.   'oh, happy day!' May the 'Snow' Rise Up to Meet You

Wooo Hoooo and WELCOME to my very first post on my first ever blog 🍀 Snowed In Shenanigans......... It's been a couple of weeks since our historical snowfall *(January 9, 2025) here in Durant, Oklahoma!!! Our weather officials tell us that a whopping 12" of the fluffy white stuff covered our tiny town. We measured about 7" in our front yard. Regardless of the exact amount, it was MUCH to our surprise, a welcomed weather event and soooooo very beautiful for about a week following. Our city of Durant, being a fairly small town and certainly not use to anything more than a light glazing of ice about every two years, it understandably took a couple of days before our town's single snowplow found it's way to our lil' neighborhood along the outskirts of town. Of course, the clearing of main roads and highways were the priority. Believe me, we weren't complaining about being 'stranded'. Afterall we were quite literally living in a winter wonderland. The ...
