Image
Happy May and welcome.... Oh boy, have we got a great Blog Hop for you this month!! The theme this month is both a color combo as well as a card sketch . Our color combo, features three of the five new  Stampin' Up! 2025-2027 In-Colors.   Be sure to check out ALL five new In-Colors in the 2025-26 Annual Catalog,  debuting in just a few short days.... May 6, 2025 Allow me to introduce you to .......   Timid Tiger , a slightly muted/true orange. Secret Sea , is rather mysterious, a very dark, blue, almost black but NOT! Much to my surprise I LOVE it!!!!! And last but not least... D arling Duckling , I'd say is a mustard'y yellow with a green undertone. Now, let's take a look at this sketch......WOW!   Honestly, I was a bit intimidated by this sketch at first glance.   I don't know why. It just seemed like A LOT. Hahahaha! I believe the original thinking behind this sketch was to 'use your scraps'.   However, these are new colors to me...

Sweet Stampede April Blog Hop ~ CARD SKETCH

Hello April and Welcome Spring So happy to have you join us again for our monthly Sweet Stampede Blog Hop. Our projects this month each began with this fun 'card sketch' below. It's not uncommon for crafters to have soooo many supplies and pretty things to create with, that we sometimes have a hard time 'beginning' a project. "Where do I start?"  A card sketch makes for a great ignition switch that can ignite the flames of creativity  and get you started......and then it's all playtime after that.  You can follow a card sketch exactly as is OR switch it up as you create. For example, our card sketch this month is in a vertical orientation. However, I could have very simply viewed it in a horizontal position instead. The flagged banner shown on the sketch doesn't have to be a banner. It could very well be a ribbon and bow tied to one side. It's entirely up to YOUR interpretation. There are no rules when it comes to crafting, other than to enjoy...

Storybook Moments ~ Book Treat Box In MY opinion 'one cannot have enough Storybook Moments projects'.  Pretty sure it's been my most favorite Designer Series Paper (DSP) that Stampin' Up! has ever released.  The sweet prints, soft colors, pre-printed die cuts.... OH MY CUTENESS!!!  The entire Storybook Moments Suite has been highly popular and rightfully so!! With the name 'StoryBOOK Moments, I knew at some point I needed to pair this paper with the Stampin' Up! Book Treat Boxes.  And with Easter quickly approaching, I  felt now would be the perfect opportunity. Last week I shared this same project (though different in pattern) over on my Facebook page and YOU all loved it. So much so, that many of you reached out asking for instructions.  Well, today is the day. Here you go......   Surprise!!! I've added a little framed cover that's fits perfectly over the inside.  Not only does this...
